Just an update on what i'm working on right now...
I'm working with slide film (I'll probably end up doing my final with Fuji Sensia 200) to take photos of supermarket refrigerators. Sounds boring, but i'm using a daylight rated film, in a fluorescent environment, so all the colours go completely out of whack and get horrible tinges to them. Horrible but awesome! I'm taking photos of the dairy section and the meat section. Strangely, when you use the wrong lighting rated film and get your framing right...meat can look quite interesting and even pretty haha

There's no concept to my work at the moment, as i find my concept driven work to be alot weaker than when I just shoot things for the sake of it. I'll post some in my notes when I finally get it right and start shooting my finals.

I'm karrie (kaweeeeeee for those playing at home), I'm studying photography at the Adelaide Centre for the Arts...i'm doing a Bachelor of Visual Arts with a photography major.

I'm not conceptually driven one little bit. I am 100% aesthetically driven. I take photos of things because I see how they look in my head, like it and try my very hardest to make it happen.

Hey girl,
Are you coming to the next meet? I am trying to get all the models/female photographers to come in pin up (dosent have to be vintage). I though it would be a great way to involve them too. What do you think?
